Courses

We offer a selection of English language courses. Our programmes are designed to make sure every one of our students gets the most out of their stay in England. Lessons focus on speaking, with optional reading and written homework to be completed after class.

Our teachers have university degrees and are qualified English language teachers. Our Director of Studies is Fiona Cullen BA Hons, PGCE TEFL, MA Linguistics. She is also an author for Cornelsen Schulverlage (the main German educational publisher). You can see her work on their website, here.

The 2024 Summer Course for Juniors will run from Sunday 7th July to Sunday 28th July.
Students usually come for 2 or 3 weeks.
A school representative will meet the student at the airport and accompany him/her back to the airport if required.
We offer prospective students and their parents the option of meeting one of our teachers for a free ten-minute introductory session over Skype.
We also offer students a chance to practise their written English with us before they arrive in England. After booking, students are welcome - if they want to - to write us up to 10 emails to practise their written English, and we will respond with corrections and advice. This way, you can start improving your English with us before you even arrive in England!
At English for You, we work to offer more than other schools, whilst keeping our prices lower.

The majority of our summer students are aged 12 - 18. The students are fully-occupied all day every day. The course includes lessons, activities, weekend excursions and host family accommodation.

A typical weekday is as follows:
  • 3 hours of lessons (09:30 - 13:00)
  • Lunch break
  • Afternoon activities (14:30 - 17:30)
  • Break for evening meal with host family
  • Evening activities (19:30 - 21:00)
